U4GM FH6 OnTheRise Event Walkthrough

The OnTheRise Photo Challenge is the sort of Festival Playlist task you can finish before you've even settled into your next event. It sounds simple, and it is, although one small detail catches people out: the car must be from the 2010s, and the picture has to be taken while the vehicle is still in the air. Pick the right car, find a jump with a clean run-up, and you'll be done in a couple of attempts. It's also an easy way to add Playlist progress while keeping your FH6 Credits available for cars, upgrades, or a purchase you've been saving for.

What You Need to Do

There's no special landmark to visit for OnTheRise. The game gives you plenty of freedom, which is why this challenge can be completed so quickly. You need to use a vehicle built between 2010 and 2019, launch it from any Danger Sign, and take a photo during the jump. That's the whole requirement. You don't need a particular class, manufacturer, tune, or performance rating. A modern sports car will work, but so will a rally car, a hot hatch, or almost any other suitable vehicle from that decade. If you're unsure about a car's production year, check its details before heading to the ramp. It's better than finding out after several failed attempts that the vehicle you picked doesn't qualify.

Pick a Car That Behaves Well

Speed helps, but it isn't the only thing that matters. A car with strong acceleration and steady handling is usually easier to use than a faster machine that becomes difficult to control at the jump. You want to approach the Danger Sign in a straight line, without fighting the steering or bouncing across the road. A 2010s supercar can do the job, though a balanced sports car or rally build may feel less awkward. Avoid anything that struggles to build speed or has a habit of spinning when you put the power down. If you already have a favourite car from this period, use it. Familiar handling makes the challenge feel much less fiddly.

Set Up the Jump Properly

Once you've chosen your car, find a Danger Sign with a decent approach. A long, fairly straight road is ideal. You'll have more time to build speed, line up the ramp, and prepare to switch into Photo Mode. Try not to start from an angle, especially if the road is busy or surrounded by barriers. Traffic can ruin a clean attempt at the last second, so it's worth making a short pass first and checking the route. You don't need a huge distance score. The challenge only cares that the car launches and that the photo is captured in mid-air. If the first ramp you visit feels awkward, don't waste time forcing it. Drive to another one with a smoother run-up.

Take the Photo Before You Land

Build speed on the approach, hit the Danger Sign cleanly, then open Photo Mode as soon as the car leaves the ramp. The vehicle needs to be visible in the frame, so don't swing the camera too far away while trying to create a dramatic angle. A simple side view or front three-quarter shot is enough. The important part is the timing. Taking the picture before the jump won't count, and waiting until the tyres touch down is just as bad. Many players lose an attempt because they try to set up the perfect shot instead of pressing the capture button straight away. Get the first valid photo, then worry about style later. If the notification doesn't appear, exit Photo Mode, return to the same road, and try again a little earlier in the flight.

Final Thoughts

OnTheRise is built for a quick win, but it still rewards a little preparation. Use a confirmed 2010s car, choose a Danger Sign with room to accelerate, and keep the camera focused on the vehicle once you're airborne. There's no need to chase a massive jump or spend time tuning a car unless you enjoy doing so. The challenge can be cleared with a stock vehicle and a sensible approach, leaving you free to move on to races, PR Stunts, and the other weekly objectives. Those extra Playlist points can bring you closer to seasonal cars and cosmetics, while careful spending on cheap FH6 Credits can help stretch your garage budget when a limited-time vehicle appears.
